The hit arcade game Bubble Bobble has been adapted for home and handheld consoles alike since its 1986 release, but now for the first time the game offers a four-person multiplayer mode and a global ranking system with Bubble Bobble Plus!.
Launching first is Bubble Bobble Plus! for WiiWare, now available for download. These all-new sequels and revamps of fan-favorites will provide endless fun for the entire family this summer and beyond. TAITO announced today that it is bringing six addictively fun, classic titles to Nintendo’s WiiWare service and Nintendo DS in the coming months. Following the release of Bubble Bobble Plus! on WiiWare last Monday, Taito has announced that the return of the two bubble-blowing dino-buddies is only the beginning, as they have plans to release more updated classics three more will come to WiiWare, while two will be made available on the Nintendo DS.Ĭoming to WiiWare in the Summer of 2009 will be Arkanoid Plus!, Bust-A-Move Plus!, and Rainbow Islands: Towering Adventure!
